Mrs. Harvey is a graduate of White House High School ('99). She attended Union University where she earned a B.S. in Psychology and Youth Ministry ('03). She attended the University of Memphis where she earned a Masters in School Counseling ('10). Mrs. Harvey is married to James Harvey who works at Oakmont Elementary School. Together they have a son, a daughter and two dogs. Mrs. Harvey loves to dance, paint, travel, and collect crystals. Her passion is to be a safe non-judgmental space for all students, especially those that feel they don't belong.

Hello, my name is Shana L. Claud- West. I have 15 years of experience as a Professional School Counselor. Outside of high School Counseling, I enjoy teaching English (ESL) to Non-English speaking adults and spending time with my family and three-year-old granddaughter.Educationally, I hold an ED.D in Educational Leadership from Trevecca University; Ed.S Educational Specialist Degree-Union University; Masters, Public Service Management-Cumberland University, Bachelor's of Arts, Human Resource Management-Trevecca University, School Counseling Certification-Tennessee State University; and an ESL certificate-Lipscomb University.I am very passionate about student success and achievement and will go the extra mile to assist all students in their efforts to achieve a high school diploma and beyond.
Mrs. Katherine Watson - School Counselor

Katherine Watson is a graduate of Macon County High School (’07). She attended the University of Tennessee (GO VOLS) where she earned her B.S. in Psychology. (‘11) She later attended Austin Peay State University where she earned her Masters of Science in Counseling with a concentration in School Counseling (‘15). Katherine and her husband, Chad, the head coach of the Gallatin Green Wave football program, have been blessed with 3 wild, young boys. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, exercising, chasing down her children, spending time with family and friends, and all things football. Katherine has a passion for meeting kids where they are in their lives and helping achieve their potential…and beyond!
Mrs. Lori McCormick - School Counselor

Mrs. McCormick graduated from Gallatin High School ('95). She attended Middle Tennessee State University where she earned a B.S. in Psychology ('99) & a Masters of Education in School Counseling ('03). Mrs. McCormick is married to Jason, with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, & has 2 sons. She enjoys reading, cheering on the Green Wave, & spending time with family & friends. Mrs. McCormick loves working with high school students & watching them accomplish things they felt were once impossible.
Mrs. Kelly Brewer - School Counselor
(All 9th Grade Students)

Mrs. Brewer is a graduate of Gallatin High School. She attended Tennessee Tech University where she earned a B.S. in Child and Family Studies. She attended Middle Tennessee State University and earned her M.Ed in School Counseling. She earned her Ed.S in administration and supervision from Tennessee Tech University. Mrs. Brewer enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time on her farm.
Mr. Christopher Stacy - Graduation Coach

Mr. Stacy joined the Green Wave family when he moved from Virginia in 2017. He attended the University of Virginia's College at Wise, earning a Bachelor's Degree in History. He is currently enrolled at Arkansas State, working towards a Master's in Educational Leadership. Mr. Stacy also serves as the Head Coach for the Cross Country and Track & Field teams at Gallatin High School. He loves to travel with his wonderful wife, Amanda. Mr. Stacy also enjoys running, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Pam Heathman - STARS Counselor

STARS (Students Taking A Right Stand) is a student assistance program designed to help students overcome social/emotional barriers to success. The SAP assists students in achieving academic and social success by promoting healthy development, reducing barriers to learning and building upon strengths. Students can meet with Mrs. Heathman one or one or in a group setting. Mrs. Heathman also supports education and prevention programs within the school.
Mrs. Heathman is from Paris, Tennessee, where she grew up and graduated from Henry County High School (’94). She attended Cumberland University where she earned her B.S in Psychology in 2012. She obtained her Master of Education in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College in 2016. Mrs. Heathman enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time with her family and playing with her dog. Her passion for working with young people is inspired by her experience as a teen. She has been working in the mental health field in Gallatin since 2012. Her mission is to support students in identifying their full potential and achieving their goals.

Mrs. Abbie Holloway - Registrar

Mrs. Holloway is a graduate of Sumner County Middle College High School ('16). She attended Volunteer State Community College where she earned an A.S. in Philosophy ('17) and Lindsey Wilson a college where she earned a B.A. in Counseling and Human Services ('18). She also obtained an English Language Instruction Certificate through International TEFL Academy ('20). Mrs. Holloway enjoys art, music, and spending time with family.
Mrs. Ilana Thomas - School Counseling Clerk

Mrs. Thomas graduated from Pekin Community High School in central Illinois and studied Secondary Education and Journalism at Western Illinois University. She and her husband Jeff recently moved to Nashville from Fort Collins, Colorado. They have three grown children, (Ben, Erica and Adam) and a grandpuppy GoldenDoodle named Ozzy who she adores!
For the past 19 years, she has had the pleasure of a rewarding career as the school secretary at Thompson Connect Online in Fort Collins, Colorado, St. James Middle School in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Bethel Lutheran School in Morton, Illinois. During her time there, she also enjoyed coaching competitive cheer, dance team, and colorguard. She also loved working with the students as the Yearbook and School Newspaper advisor.
She has found over the years that working in a school environment is so rewarding and fulfilling that she can not imagine doing anything else. She feels incredibly blessed to be able to work with the students, families, and teachers at GHS.
